George Washington Birthday Celebration 2012 - Concert
The George Washington Masonic Memorial invites you to share an evening of world-class patriotic music in a Washington Birthday tribute with soprano Alessandra Marc, accompanied by the Alexandria Harmonizers.
About Alessandra Marc
“Alessandra Marc has the most beautiful voice in the world.”
The Washington Post, March 31, 2001
Dramatic soprano Alessandra Marc has consistently been acclaimed as one of the most outstanding artists of our day. Her voice has a unique color, range, and quality, and she is a frequent guest of the world's leading opera houses and orchestras. Ms. Marc disposes of a rich opera repertoire. Of her opening night performance of Aida at the Metropolitan Opera, the New York Times reported: "She displayed burnished tone and enormous volume, especially in climactic phrases that soared above the orchestra and chorus."
